Summer 2026 Deep Science Fellowship Program:

Fine Structure Ventures is offering a summer internship opportunity for professionals who combine deep scientific training with business acumen. Interns will work directly with our Investment Team over the summer to evaluate new investment opportunities and support existing portfolio companies. Responsibilities will include conducting scientific and technical due diligence (e.g., literature reviews, primary research with academic and industry KOLs), developing investment theses in prioritized technology areas, performing market analysis and competitive landscaping, and contributing to business strategy discussions around prospective and current ventures.

Who Can Apply:

Interns will be expected to work in a hybrid capacity from our Boston office during Summer 2026 from June 8th – August 7th.

We are looking for candidates who hold a PhD in the physical or engineering sciences and are currently enrolled in a top-tier MBA program. The ideal candidate will bring rigorous scientific training together with a growing command of business fundamentals, financial analysis, and strategic thinking. Prior experience in venture capital, management consulting, or technology commercialization is a plus but not required.

This is a full-time Summer 2026 internship, and a stipend will be provided. The total compensation range for this 10-week internship is $16,000 – $22,000. Fine Structure Ventures considers a variety of factors when determining compensation, including professional background and relevant work experience; as a result, actual compensation may vary.
